| Traditional manes and tails were
fitted from real horse hair, cured on the hide. Our standard tails
will fit out all but the exceptionally large horses. Off-cuts are
available for smaller horses. Our tails are cured by a professional taxidermist and certified to British Standard EN71(1995) Part 3. The resulting hide is certified as free from residual heavy metals, is free of odours and produces an attractive flowing mane or tail. Blondes and silver grey are much in demand, hence unfortunately fetching a higher premium. Fitting instructions included. Specify size of horse and hide can be supplied pre-cut to fit at no extra cost. |
